Retailers are increasingly requiring manufacturers to comply with strict rules relating to product specifications, packaging, palletizing, labeling and tagging.

Manufacturers are also required to provide delivery times and files with advanced ship notification. This ensures the retailer's receiving department runs an optimum efficiency and enables products to be tracked through the retailer's systems.

Manufacturers that do not comply with the comprehensive routing guide for a particular retailer can be levied with heavy chargebacks that can easily wipe out profit.

Our generic master carton label ensures compliance to most retailers. The routing guide specifications, as well as customer business rules and product specifications, are entered into the Mastershipper database.
Next, the database creates the appropriate label or tag, either a package-specific UCC128 label, an RFID tag or other information.
This information is then integrated into the order confirmation process.

ALOM maintains a library of routing guides for major retailers, and we adopt new routing guides provided by our customers or directly by the retailers. This lets us ship reliably to retailers without annual penalties or problems.

As part of our retail fulfillment, we assemble and ship point-of-purchase displays and marketing materials.
