ALOM Expands North American Presence

ALOM, a global leader in supply chain management, has announced its opening of a new 48,000 square foot fulfillment and distribution hub located in Indianapolis, IN. With this move ALOM is expanding its service capacity in North America to meet growing market demand and reduce delivery times for its e-commerce and retail channel fulfillment clients in the Midwest and Eastern US regions.

Strategically, having a new state-of-the-art production and fulfillment facility located so near our regional clients, supply chain partners and supply base, and situated for one day or same day order delivery to the Midwest and Eastern regions, makes us a stronger and more agile competitor in the marketplace.” said Hannah Kain, ALOM President and CEO.

The new Midwestern regional hub illustrates ALOM’s 20-year track record of growth and innovation. Launched in Silicon Valley in 1997, ALOM seized the opportunity to enable technology-driven clients to focus on innovation by outsourcing entire segments of their supply chain. Over the next two decades, ALOM would expand globally and seamlessly fulfill a wide array of business functions.

With the opening of the Midwest location, ALOM is enhancing economic opportunities in the region.  Aided by support from Indiana state and local incentives and the ease of doing business there, ALOM will serve clients with responsive service and regionalized inventory levels. ALOM’s order management technology intelligently routes orders to the ALOM facility closet to the final destination, minimizing time in transit, transportation cost, and environmental impact.

Once fully staffed, ALOM expects the facility to employ between 30 and 50 employees depending on the season.

The new ALOM facility is located at 2670 Executive Drive, Suite B in Indianapolis. This location is adjacent to the Indianapolis International Airport and provides excellent proximity to air and ground logistics hubs. The ALOM Indianapolis facility officially opens today with a ribbon cutting ceremony attended by company executives, staff, and local representatives.
