ALOM Wins 2013 Silver Stevie Award

ALOM has been named the winner of a Silver Stevie® Award in the Company of the Year – Business Services, in the 10th annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business. Lisa Dolan, ALOM Vice President, Strategic Sales, accepted the award on behalf of the company. “We are tremendously proud to receive this award. The Stevie Awards for Women in Business are the world’s top honors for female entrepreneurs, executives, employees and the organizations they run. All individuals and organizations worldwide are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small. The 2013 awards received entries from 18 nations and territories. ALOM is being recognized as a world-class company in its category for the impeccable way it managed explosive growth over the last years. Adhering to its promise of premier quality and on-time performance, ALOM’s revenue more than doubled over two years while the company continued to deliver flawless performance to its prestigious customer base through its global network.

In 2007, ALOM was a finalist for the Best Overall Company in the US; and this is the same category where ALOM was recognized as a Silver winner in 2013.

Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word for “crowned,” the awards were presented to winners during a sold-out event at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City.

More than 1,200 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories. ALOM won in the category of Company of the Year – Business Services for companies with more than 10 employees.
