ALOM Expands in Midwest with New 160,000 sq. ft. Indianapolis Facility

To meet growing customer demand, ALOM, a global leader in supply chain management services, has begun construction on a significantly expanded, state-of-the-art production and fulfillment facility in Indianapolis, IN. The facility is scheduled to begin operations in September, 2019. By moving to the newly designed 160,000 square foot facility ALOM is nearly tripling its Midwestern service capacity only two years after opening its first facility here in the heart of the state in 2017. The new facility will be located at 3910 Waldemere Ave. in Indianapolis, IN.

Two years ago we chose Indianapolis as our Midwest operations center because of its welcoming business community, proximity to our growing customer base, and excellent logistics infrastructure. In two short years we have outgrown our first location and now are excited to be expanding into a new, perfectly configured facility that provides us with the capacity to serve existing and new customers with enhanced levels of service,” said ALOM President and CEO Hannah Kain.

During its initial two years in Indianapolis, ALOM has developed a growing community of talented employees dedicated to customer service excellence and technology-driven supply chain operations; most specifically in the areas of ecommerce development and fulfillment. ALOM plans to increase its employment locally by 25 percent as a result of the expansion.

Ultimately our goal is to provide exceptional service and quality levels while reducing cost and delivery times,” said ALOM Director of Indianapolis Operations Leo Geib.

ALOM offers a wide range of supply chain solutions to its growing Fortune 500 customer base including production, fulfillment, ecommerce, in-house digital print and media duplication. From both its Indianapolis and California locations, ALOM can deliver shipments in two days or less to 80 percent of the contiguous United States.

ALOM plans a ribbon-cutting ceremony in early September with city officials and business leaders in attendance.
