Building a Long-term Customer Relationship

COO Brandon Marugg shares a story from a Fortune 100 Silicon Valley technology customer of why commitment and flexibility over time are more important than a quick win to build a trusted, long-term supply chain customer relationship.

Transcript:
Hey there, it’s Brandon Marugg, your friendly neighborhood COO standing in our Fremont facility here at ALOM. And, you know, with our customers, we’re not really looking for a romance. We’re looking for a long-term commitment, a long-term relationship, one where we help each other grow. And in fact, we’re coming up on the 20th anniversary of one of our largest customers, a Fortune 100 tech company here in Silicon Valley. And we couldn’t be prouder about that. And we continue to do new programs for them all the time. I remember a fun story from years ago was we had a Christmas tree delivery project for them, where we orchestrated delivering live Christmas trees to thousands of different stores throughout the country on the same day. And that was quite the experience that we had with them. And they were delighted, and we had fun. And, you know, I hope you’re in a good relationship with your supplier, and if you’re not, we’re here.
