ALOM CEO Hannah Kain Wins Top National Award

ALOM announced today that its founder and CEO Hannah Kain was selected as a winner of the 2009 Enterprising Women of the Year Award.

Based in Fremont, California, ALOM is a contract packaging, fulfillment and supply chain management provider serving customers from 14 locations around the world. ALOM was founded by Hannah Kain in 1997, and has since grown to serve a prestigious customer base on four continents.

The Enterprising Women of the Year Award is one of the most prestigious national awards for women entrepreneurs. Kain will receive her award at a gala dinner on March 12 at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort in Lake Buena Vista, FL. Walt Disney World is the premiere sponsor of the event. The awards dinner is part of a three day celebration designed to shine the spotlight on the finest women entrepreneurs in North America.

Kain has 18 years in the supply chain industry, three university degrees, numerous awards, and serves on the board of Global Supply Chain Leaders Group and the National Association of Manufacturers Board of Directors. “The current economic climate presents a perfect opportunity for companies to move up in their categories by optimizing and simplifying their supply chains,” Kain observes. “And they can do this while recognizing, as ALOM does, that one of our most promising remaining resources is the untapped potential of women worldwide.”
