ALOM today announced the launch of its new customer portal, COMPASS™. COMPASS allows ALOM’s customers to manage their supply chain online with visibility to activities around the globe.
The portal which is designed and managed by ALOM’s internal IT Development Team was unveiled in the presence of its prestigious customer base in the high-tech, medical, automotive and government sector. The launch party featured champagne and a nautical theme to emphasize the COMPASS name.
“The premise of COMPASS is to allow customers to access information and create their own reports and alerts for a fully customized approach,” said Brandon Marugg, Director of IT for ALOM, during the unveiling of the portal. “ALOM was a pioneer when we in 1997 launched the first customer portal in the industry. We have since made significant changes, and we are now with the new COMPASS portal reclaiming our leadership in the customer facing information exchange in the supply chain industry,” continued Brandon Marugg.
COMPASS is available to ALOM’s customers worldwide and is complete with a supply chain event management section.
