ALOM Named a Top Workplace for 3rd Year

ALOM, a global leader in supply chain management, has been selected for the third consecutive year as one of The Bay Area News Group’s Top 100 Workplaces. The honor was awarded based solely on employee feedback as gathered in a survey of approximately 6,000 workplaces conducted by WorkplaceDynamics, LLP, a leading research firm on organizational health and employee engagement.

Since ALOM’s founding in 1997, Kain has cultivated a transparent and educated workplace. Each person receives a one-page business plan on the direction of the company, as well as its mission, values, and principles of doing business. In partnership with the McKesson Foundation, ALOM supports the Giving Comfort program that distributes comfort packs to cancer patients to soothe the discomfort caused by cancer treatment. Another customer, One World Play Project, donates nearly indestructible soccer balls to youth in disadvantaged third world communities.
