An integral component of our global-reach strategy is the careful sourcing and management of select worldwide suppliers that offer core and specialized materials and services. We put each supplier through an in-depth qualification process before approving them as an ALOM vendor. Once approved, we re-evaluate suppliers regularly based on service and performance levels, quality, and overall business management. We also provide supplier compliance management. By working closely with our suppliers, we get products that are on-time, to specifications and produced in a manner that is aligned with our values.
We expect all of our suppliers — domestic and international — to be aligned with our unwavering commitment to quality, on-time delivery and flawless execution across all 19 of our locations. They must demonstrate an effective plan to train staff on the quality standards we strive for while being proactive and committed to continuous improvement.
