Lisa Dolan, Vice President, Strategic Sales at ALOM, will be recognized as a 2013 Woman of Influence by The Silicon Valley Business Journal. The ceremony will take place at a gala May 2 at the Fairmont in San Jose where 100 women across industry, finance and education will be honored as this year’s most influential women in Silicon Valley.

Dolan was part of the 1997 founding team of ALOM, a global leader in supply chain management. Today she manages complex global supply chain business for Fortune 100 companies, developing solutions that enable her clients to deliver their products and services efficiently, sustainably and responsibly anywhere the world. Her knowledge of supply chain best practices has saved ALOM’s clients millions of dollars while achieving their strategic goals.
For example, Dolan worked with Ford Motor Company to streamline their supply chain for digital media related to the Ford Sync® system, the built-in navigational system. This high-profile global project included regional management of digital media, digital rights management, and procurement and distribution. Dolan also arranged a program with Ford in which returned digital media components were sold with the proceeds donated to charity.
She is a respected leader, manager and mentor at ALOM, and works in a collaborative manner with executives and staff of ALOM clients.
Starting as an Account Executive in 1997, Dolan was promoted to Sr. Account Executive in 1999 and to Vice President in 2009. Prior to joining ALOM, Ms. Dolan worked in other supply chain companies and high tech companies managing supply chain issues.
Dolan brings her leadership skills and passion for excellence to numerous professional and community organizations. She is President of The Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) in the Greater Bay Area. CSCMP is the leading worldwide professional association dedicated to education, research, and the advancement of the supply chain management profession. Prominent among CSCMP’s 96 global Roundtables, the San Francisco Bay Area SFRT is recognized for its powerful programs featuring world-class supply chain management (SCM) innovators and its successful community relationships, and provides scholarships to students studying supply chain management. Ms. Dolan joined the board in 2008, became an Event Chair in 2009, and served as Vice President of Programs from 2010-2012, when she was elected President. During her tenure CSCMP SFRT has seen a 20 percent increase in program attendance.
Ms. Dolan also frequently represents ALOM at the Silicon Valley Leadership Group and with industry groups. She is a sought-after speaker at supply chain events and events that promote girls and women.
As a Girl Scout Troop Leader from 2000-2005, she encouraged and worked with the Girl Scouts to donate time and energy into the local food banks and elder centers. In addition, she focused activities around Science Engineering Technology and Mathematics (STEM) subjects and taking place at the NASA AMES Research Center in Silicon Valley, as part of the Sally Ride Program.
Dolan also contributes meaningfully to her community. When she served on the Board of Ascencion Solorsano Middle School (ASMS) from 2007 to 2009, including as Treasurer in 2008 and 2009, successfully fund raising efforts ensured equal opportunity for all students to attend the science camp program.
Dolan lives in Gilroy, CA, with her husband, Dan, and their two children, Meg and Jake.
